Raghad Fadhil

Raghad Fadhil is a PhD student at Department of Architecture, College of Engineering, University of Baghdad. Her doctoral research focuses on the choice and decision in contemporary architecture of Iraq, with particular emphasis on architectural and urban transformations in the city of Baghdad.

She holds a Master of Science in Architecture Engineering from the University of Baghdad and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering from Al-Nahrain University. Her MSc thesis explored the assessment of heritage implementation styles in contemporary architectural design in Iraq, shedding light on the work of Iraqi pioneers in architecture. Parallel to her PhD, Raghad works as Assistant Lecturer at Department of Architecture, College of Engineering, Mustansiriyah University.
