EASA Poznań 2026 Anthropology: Possibilities in a Polarised World

Between 21-24 July 2026, Dorota Woroniecka-Krzyżanowska and Aleksandra Wojtaszek participated in the EASA 2026 Conference Anthropology: Possibilities in a Polarised World. 

During the conference, Dorota presented a research paper, Reconstruction as a modality of infrastructural power: Baghdad after the 1991 Gulf War, about the reconstruction campaign following the 1991 Gulf War as an example of a distinct modality of infrastructural power.

Aleksandra presented a research paper Domes against the void: Innovation and antifragility in Iraqi practice under sanctions about creativity, adaptability, and crisis-driven prototype housing under international sanctions in Baghdad.
